Ring Alarm Glass Break Sensor

Ring’s latest accessory – the Ring Alarm Glass Break Sensor enables households with Ring Alarm to monitor windows or glass doors for break in attempts.

I love Ring products, I’ve reviewed their doorbell and camera technologies several times on this site, and their shift from a wifi doorbell company to an integrated security platform has been smooth and executed really well.

Their latest product is a glass break sensor detects the sound of glass breaking in your home up to 25 feet away.

The Ring Alarm Glass Break Sensor uses AI technology to detect the sounds of different types of breaking glass from up to 25 feet (7.62 metres) away and to help reduce false alarms like jingling keys or clattering dishes.

If the sound of breaking glass is detected, customers will receive a real time alert to the Ring app and can even update their settings to automatically trigger their built-in Ring Alarm siren and Alarm Outdoor Siren when in Home or Away mode.

Installation

The Alarm Glass Break Sensor is easy to install and can be added to your Ring Alarm or Ring Alarm Pro in minutes by simply mounting it to your wall, ceiling or even furniture near glass doors and windows so you receive mobile notifications at the initial breaking of glass.

The Glass Break sensor does also need the Ring Alarm Base Station to connect into, which if you don’t have already you can buy as part of a Ring alarm bundle.
